A simple but excellent invention, these baby food freezer
trays put parents in control of their child's weaning.
Making up quantities of puréed fresh, natural foods
is recommended by the Food Standards Agency for several
reasons:
- using the family's food is cheaper than buying commercial
baby foods
- parents will know exactly what the ingredients are
- baby will get used to eating similar food to the
rest of the irfamily.
Made especially with babies in mind, Pea in a Pod weaning
trays are made from soft LDPE plastic which contains no
Bisphenol A (BPA) and no Phthalates. The Freezer Tray
has two convenient-sized compartments. Twelve small compartments
each hold 25g, an average single portion size for a weaning
baby. Six larger compartments hold 50g of food, for when
baby gets hungrier, or for a double portion of a favourite
food!
 Once
frozen, the cubes can be stored in a freezer storage box
or bags ready to be defrosted when required.
Pea in a Pod weaning ice cube trays are supplied with
a lid to prevent freezer burn, keep freezer odours out
and prevent cross contamination from other foodstuffs.
Finally, when baby is weaned, these trays are fantastic
simply as ice-cube trays. It is very easy to get ice cubes
out and the lids prevents the ice cubes taking on the
odour of other freezer contents.
